Experimental Gelli Plate Printing

For beginners and intermediate. In this workshop I will show you a few different techniques to get you started with gelli plate printing. We will explore, cutting stencils, mark making using the gelli plate. We will print onto papers such as deli papers, maps, plain paper and parcel paper to create a unique stash to take home of collage papers to use in art journaling, collage art, etc. We will also print on some labels and envelopes. 

We will cover: 

• Abstract Printing uning hand cut stencils 
• Make your own stamp element using Soft Cut for mark making on the Gelli Pad Printing some botanicals from the hedgerow 
• Transfer printing using teh Gelli Pad 
• All the materials will be included in the session. 
• No creative experience is necessary! 

This is a great beginners workshop, to get your creative juices flowing. The papers are an authentic touch to layering in an art joural or sketchbook. Equally the process is fab for making decorative envelopes and bespoke name/gift tags or for using elements in stand alone artwork.
